About Improvements for CRMC Right of Way Y-7 (AKA Kingfisher Ave)
Town Project to improve access, parking and drainage
Meeting Date and Time: Tuesday May 15, 2018 at 6:00 pm in the Middletown Fire Station, Community Room, 239 Wyatt Rd., Middletown.
Residents who live in the vicinity of the intersection of Peckham and Indian Avenues are invited to attend an information meeting concerning an upcoming project to improve the CRMC Y-7 Right of Way, also known as Kingfisher Avenue. Town Engineer Warren Hall and Public Works Director Tom O’Loughlin will be on hand to explain the project scope, duration and impact to traffic, as well as answer any questions and address any concerns you may have.
This is a drainage, erosion and parking improvement project. A new 6’ gravel pathway will be constructed from the end of the existing gravel drive to the top of the coastal bank. Five new parking spaces, including one handicap van accessible space will be delineated and a new drainage swale designed to minimize erosion will be constructed.
This project is expected to be completed within 30 days of the start date, which is anticipated to be June 4, 2018.
Access to the right of way will be closed during construction hours, Monday thru Friday 7 am to 5 pm.
